Laser distance detector for fast, accurate site measurement

This Total laser distance detector measures length, area and volume in seconds, so one person can do the work a tape measure needs two people for. Point the laser at the far wall, press the button, and the reading appears on the display. Because accuracy stays around 2.0mm on every model, the meter suits electrical layout, interior fit-out, construction estimating and site survey work.

Which measuring range do you need

The three models differ mainly in how far they reach. The TMT55016 measures up to 50m, so it is the easiest way into laser measuring for flats, offices and small sites. The TMT56016 reaches 60m and comes with a canvas bag, which helps when the meter travels between sites every day. However, for warehouses, factory floors and long boundary walls, the 70m TMT57026 is the safer choice.

Measuring modes

All three models cover distance, area and volume. The TMT55016 and TMT57026 also offer single and continuous measurement plus indirect measurement with the Pythagorean theorem, so you can work out a height you cannot reach, such as a roof line or a cable tray run. The TMT56016 covers distance, area, volume and height, and it switches itself off to save the batteries when you put it down.
